Short Biography
Elizabeth Soukhotine (known as Lisa) was Mel Ferrer`s 5th and final wife. Born in Belgium, her father was a Russian émigré whose parents fled Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution. She was living in London and an editor of children`s books when she met her future husband. Their wedding took place in London on February 18, 1971 - about two years after Mel`s divorce from Audrey Hepburn was finalized. The marriage proved to be his most successful and continued until his death in Santa Barbara on June 2, 2008.
