Geovany Soto (born January 20, 1983) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher for the Chicago White Sox. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs from 2005 to 2012, the Texas Rangers from 2012 to 2014 and the Oakland Athletics in 2014. He has appeared in the MLB All-Star Game and was named the National League Rookie of the Year in 2008.
