Yann Gérard M'Vila (born 29 June 1990) is a French footballer who plays for Premier League side Sunderland, on loan from Russian Premier League club Rubin Kazan. He operates as a defensive midfielder, and is described by his former club as a player who possesses "excellent defensive abilities" and "impressive physical strength". He is the younger brother of Yohan M'Vila.
