She later represented India in Miss World 1992 contest, which was held in Sun City, South Africa on December 12, 1992. Shyla Lopez was born in Bangalore and completed her education there. She represented India in the Mrs World 2007 contest, which was held in Sochi, Russia. She is presently married to a Russian national Vladislav Vershinin and has two kids.
