Osamah Sami (born 10 March 1983 in Qom, Iran) is an Australian actor, screenwriter, published author and stand up comedian of Iraqi and Persian origin. He is recognized as a notable Australian Muslim by the Commonwealth of Australia. He is also the creator of ''Halal Aussie Daily'': socio-political commentary, through satire, story and poetry. His book "Good Muslim Boy" was published by Hardie Grant) in May. He was a regular in the Australian TV series Kick and appeared as the lead in Tony Ayres' award winning film "Saved" opposite Claudia Karvan. He is also co-creator of a popular online comedy Web Series Two Refugees & a Blonde.
