Jamshed Bharucha is President Emeritus of Cooper Union, a college located in Manhattan, New York City. He served as the 12th President of Cooper Union from July 2011 through June 2015. On June 11, 2015, amid a financial crisis at the school, and a day after five of the college's Trustees resigned, he announced that he would be stepping down at the end of the month to become a visiting scholar at Harvard University.
