Candice Lee Lake

Short Biography

Model and photographer Candice Lake grew up in Australia but is currently based in London.Candice Lake was born in Queensland on December 23, 1981.At 19, she gave up studying law to model at Australian Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week.She debuted on the international modelling circuit at the spring/summer 2003 shows, walking for Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Fendi.During the next two seasons, she also walked for Jill Stuart, Junya Watanabe, Ralph Lauren, Versus and Zero Maria Cornejo.During this time, she discovered her love of fashion and photography which culminated in her working as an assistant to photographer Georges Antoni and studying photography for three years in Sydney.In 2011, Lake launched her debut photography exhibition in New York at the TriBeCa Grand Hotel.In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bike, eating out and going to museums.Lake has also worked as a personal stylist in New York, in sales and marketing for Rue du Mail, and has featured in advertisements for David Jones, Max & Co, Ralph Lauren, Versace and Versus.She currently contributes street style photos to Vogue Australia and British Vogue and works as global client relations manager for Rue de Mail.
