Short Biography

The name Amaris means Love in Latin. Amaris Dupree is a native of Los Angeles , California who is of South-American, Central- American, European & Caribbean decent .She has been involved in the Entertainment Industry since the age of four years old and has been in love with it ever since. Amaris is a triple threat! Actress, Singer & Dancer. As a Singer, she was signed to both Giant Records & Arista Records in Pop/R&B; groups and was the Featured singer on The Black Eyed Peas' Hit single " Joints & Jam" . On Stage: She joined the First National Broadway Tour of "Footloose" and has also had the opportunity to perform as Leads in the musicals West side Story & Little Shop Of Horrors. As a Dancer, she has worked with numerous artists including the late Michael Jackson in the film MoonWalker as well as in the film You Got Served & Save the Last Dance. As an Actress, Amaris has appeared in the films Primary Colors, My Super Psycho Sweet 16, California Winter (English /Spanish Indie) & The Things We Carry. Television Credits include: The Shield, Crossing Jordan, CSI: Robbery Homicide Division( Michael Mann), Disney's The Suite Life on Deck, Law & Order: LA, 2 Broke Girls & Big Time Rush. Amaris started up The Starlight Lounge Band and performs in the essence of Billie Holiday & Sarah Vaughn with her own twist on it. She is currently in the studio working on her EP which will be released Spring of 2014.
