Short Biography
Giuseppe Bede Sampedro or GB Sampedro, a director of commercials and MTV, has also directed television shows such as Real Pinoy Fighter, Homeboy and Boy & Kris for the Kapamilya network. GB Sampedro’s first full-length indie movie Astig won Best Director award at 2009 Cinemalaya Film Festival. Although he did not pursue studies in directing for cinema television, his career took off in a short period of time. He started as an assistant director to Direk Louie Ignacio and within a few years, began directing corporate events and concerts, commercials and TV shows. GB won the Aliw Awards Best Concert Stage Director award for Sarah Geronimo’s Sarah Geronimo The Other Side in 2006. He has directed several music videos for MTV.
