Dominican born and New York and New Jersey bred, Luis Jose Lopez got an early start as a dancer and singer in various musical groups and tour the US and latin america. He landed his first tv and film job in the series 'Now and Again' alongside John Goodman and the movie "center stage' as a lead Salsa Dancer.Luis Jose Lopez relocated to Hollywood when he was tapped to play series regular "Georgio" on FOX's MyNetwork telenovela 'American Heiress'. The series also featured Joe Magangiello and AnnaLynne McCord.
