Soekie is from the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire, where she was discovered by agent Bregje Zijlstra at a beauty competition. To our delight Soekie has undergone an extensive makeunder, shedding the heavy makeup and high glitz of the pageant circuit. Now her naturally strong, pure beauty (thanks to her Dutch mother and half Indian father) shines through, especially in her test shots with photographer Richard Bakker.
