Dulcie Smart is a New Zealand-born actress based in Berlin. She began her career as a stage actress in Wellington, playing lead roles in Shakespeare and Chekhov as well as in contemporary drama by e.g. David Hare, Caryl Churchill, Louis Nowra and Lanford Wilson. She moved to Germany in 1991. Dulcie Smart has played a broad range of roles in film and TV productions for companies based in New Zealand, Germany, the UK and Canada. She is one of Germany's top English-language voice actors.
