Matt Chambers is a American Meteorologist, Matt joined the KMOV Storm Team at News 4 in St. Louis back in 2005, Matt's interest in weather to the University of Missouri in Columbia where he studied in Meteorology. earning his Bachelor Of Science degree in soil & atmospheric science in 1999, and Matt cut into broadcasting teeth as a weathercaster at KOMU-TV in Columbia, MO, That led to his first full time meteorology job, morning meteorologist at KRCG-TV in Jefferson City, MO.Matt also was a co host of Great Day St. Louis in 2009 every weekday mornings at 10:00 am, and Matt is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and also a member of the National Weather Association, the AMS give matt the distriction of "Certified Broadcast Meteorologist" His on air talents have been recognized by the Missouri Broadcasters Association with awards "Best Weathercast" and "Best Children's Programming"
