Alex Lalonde

Short Biography

With over 20 years of experience in business, financing and production, Alex has worked in the entertainment industry for various organizations including The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, The Canadian Television Fund, Telefilm Canada and The Motion Picture Bond Company. She has headed up business affairs for several independent film companies and spent 5 years at the executive level at the highly regarded First Generation Films. In 2010, after three years as the Awards Director for the Academy of Canadian Cinema, where she ran the Genie and Gemini awards, Alex joined FGF on the feature film The Whistleblower, she then stepped into the role of executive in charge of production, where she acted as a producer on several projects including the LIFE directed by Anton Corbijn (A Most Wanted Man) and Regression directed by Director Alejandro Amenabar (The Others) both films will be released this year. Alex recently joined the team at Digital Howard as vice president of the company and joins veteran digital producers and entrepreneurs Daniel Dales and Jarrett Sherman in creating cutting edge digital experiences including Terracsom, their most recent experimental CMF funded project.
