Short Biography
Alyonka Larionov was born on April 4, 1987 in Moscow, so her age is 21. Her father is famed Russian hockey player Igor Larionov and her mother, Elena Botanova, was a Soviet figure skater. She has lived all over the United States and Canada, following her hockey father, in the cities of Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, New Jersey and Los Angeles, which is where her parents currently live. She even auditioned for American Idol, making it to the Hollywood round, but didn’t make the Top 24 in Season 7.She made headlines last year when she showed up on the arm of Alexander Ovechkin at the NHL Awards, but she denied that the two were a couple, claiming that she and Ovechkin have been friends since they were kids. Alyonka makes her home in Pittsburgh, where she attends The Art Institute, majoring in fashion reail management. She is working as a video host for Pens TV, which you can see on the Pittsburgh Penguins’ website.
