Short Biography
Antoine Valois-Fortier (born 13 March 1990) is a Canadian judoka who won the bronze medal in the Men's -81 kg category at the Judo at the 2012 Summer Olympics, making him the first Canadian to win a medal in Olympic Judo in twelve years and the fifth to win one in Olympic history. In 2010 he won the Canadian National Judo Championship in the -81 kg category. Valois-Fortier is coached by Nicolas Gill, Marie-Helene Chisholm and Sergio Pessoa Sr.
