Short Biography

Brian Lafontaine is a professional actor working in film, television, commercials, voiceovers and theatre.Brian recently starred in the UPtv original movie Saving Westbrook High alongside Esai Morales, Loretta Devine, Salli Richardson and Coby Ryan McLaughlin.He can be seen this spring in The Vampire Diaries, and as a recurring cast member in the new AMC series Turn.Other film and tv credits include Mountain Top, In/Signifcant Others, Big Momma’s: Like Father, Like Son with Martin Lawrence, as well as The Trial opposite Matthew Modine. Brian has also guest starred on such shows as Revolution, Dawson’s Creek, Surface, One Tree Hill, Ruffian, From the Earth to the Moon, Drop Dead Diva and Showtime’s Emmy Award winning series Homeland .He has appeared in or voiced over 1000 commercials for tv and radio and supplied extensive character and/or announcer voice talents for Burger King, Windows Phone, Coca-Cola, PBS’s Ocean Adventures, and The Haney Project for The Golf Channel. People in the Carolina’s may recognize Brian as the commercial spokesperson for Walmart.His theatre resume is as diverse as his broadcast one. Brian played Lt. Sam Weinberg in the Flat Rock Playhouse production of A Few Good Men. Other shows include Barefoot In The Park, The Laramie Project, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lost in Yonkers, and inclusion in the first American cast of Lifegame, created by London’s Improbable Theatre Company. Other credits include playing Michael in Featuring Loretta and Risk Everything with Occam Rep in New York City.Brian’s impressive work on camera and as a voice over artist, along with his broad range and versatility, has allowed him to be cast time and again.
