Charles Miller

Short Biography

Charles Stewart Alexander Miller was born to Amanda and Philip Miller in 1983. As the eldest of four children he pioneered the stage and screen and his siblings boldly followed in his footsteps. At five years old he was the youngest person ever employed by the RSC to have a speaking role. He played Simon Russell Beale's page boy in "A Man of Mode" and amazed everyone with his professionalism when he kept in character through a nose bleed and a wig hair in his eye! He went on to do many voice overs and television adverts. His last professional role was as Macduff's son in Macbeth at the National Theatre. He continued acting with local amateur dramatics groups and at St George's Medical School, where he performed in countless revues and tried his hand at writing, directing and producing for the first time. Charles developed a love for live comedy when the St George's Medics Revue started taking their sketch shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and in 2002 he earned his fist directing credit alongside his good friend Kate Holyhead, for their show "Sex, Lies and Surgical Tape". Charles now works as a Biomedical Scientist for the NHS.
