Christy-Anne Lopez | Red Carpet HostChristy-Anne Lopez says she remembers hosting her first radio show when she was 10 and started hosting live events since the age of 13. At a young age, this vivacious filipina set her sights on a career in entertainment. Christy-Anne, a southern California native, is a Cal State Fullerton alumna with an emphasis in broadcast journalism where she was recognized for her energetic presence as a college news anchor, radio host, karaoke jockey, and open mic host. In 2009, she won the Society of Professional Journalist’s ‘Best Reporter Package’ and ‘Best Radio Newscast’ Awards. Her professional career began in Washington DC with FOX’s ‘America’s Most Wanted.’ One of her proudest moments, she says, was when a fugitive that she had profiled in the first segment she ever produced for national television was captured within a week from being aired. Christy-Anne's investigative news background led her back to her passion for entertainment news at E! Network where she began as an intern then hired onto the production team for the award­-winning investigative documentary series, “E! Investigates with Laura Ling.” She has produced multiple syndicated bio-documentaries with E! Entertainment Specials and E! True Hollywood Story including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Ice-T and Coco, Carley Rae Jepsen, and Will & Kate. After that, Christy-Anne proved her fast-paced diligence and passion for entertainment as an associate producer for E! Networks' flagship program, E! News. As an on-air personality, Christy-Anne has lent her talent to Myx TV, an Asian­-American entertainment and lifestyle network. With her quick wit and insightful banter, she was also a co-host for the new media broadcast network Afterbuzz TV, founded by Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro. She has covered red carpets, interviewed and worked with celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Kelly Rowland, Perez Hilton, Demi Lovato, Carley Rae Jepsen, and Carrie Ann Inaba. Christy-Anne nows travels on a national tour hosting live dance productions with Kids Artistic Revue. With her extensive professional experience, she currently serves as one of the producers for the Industry Dance Awards. But when this fun­-loving gal isn't busy with production, Christy-Anne enjoys traveling, dancing, having fun in the sun, and making people laugh.
