Dr. Elizabeth Simms

Short Biography

Dr. Simms was a fellow doctor and co-worker with Dr. Neil Gordon at the Westin Hills Asylum, studying the pattern nightmares amongst the teenagers that are staying there. Unknownst to herself and Dr. Gordon their patients were the last of the Elm Street children and were experiencing severe pattern nightmares, all of them seeing the same personification of the "Boogeyman" (Freddy), that is being dismissed by the other staffers at the hospital. It can be implied that unlike, Dr. Gordon, Dr. Simms is much more harsher and realistic to the patients. One example could be when the death of Phillip Anderson is brought to mind, when they tell her that Phillip was wide awake. Dr. Simms sternly states his death was a suicide and scolded the boy for being a coward. Another how she may frequently send the patients to the "room" for confinement, which recently the children hate.
