Elisangela DiAlencar

Short Biography

Elisangela was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil. She is the oldest of three children. Her parents owned and operated a recycling center there. As a child Elisangela always knew she wanted to be an actress and dreamed of one day performing in Hollywood. Growing up she performed in many stage productions. After attending a junior college in Brazil she emigrated to the United States to pursue an acting career and joined her parents who had already settled in Boston. Elisangela enrolled at Harvard University and was soon discovered for modeling by John Casablanca Studios. She quickly began getting a lot of modeling work. She can be seen in advertisements for CVS, Fidelity Investments, Hewlett Packard, Polaroid, Six Flags, Dunkin Donuts, and MSN Weather Channel. In 2004 Elisangela`s acting career took off moving effortlessly from modeling to commercials. She worked as a principal on many commercials including work for the Massachusetts Office of Tourism, Subway Scrabble, The Magic Scarf, DCU Credit Union and others. Her acting career quickly flourished and she began landing roles in both independent and Hollywood productions. She starred in the independent film "Call Back" and worked on several television series including "Brotherhood", "Enough About You" and had a recurring role as the mayor`s secretary on "Waterfront". She also made guest appearances on "Elimidate", "XY TV", and "Love Around the World" all in 2005. In 2006 her popularity was such that on February 9th she was the celebrity guest at "Grito de Carnaval Harvard Square" in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In September of 2007 she decided to take a bigger step to enlarge her career moving to NYC. She has already landed a role on the soap opera "All My Children".
