Fran Bennett was born in Texas to Eugenia Gibbons Bailey and Bryan Andrew Leonard. She was apparently adopted by Darwin Marx Benedum, taking his last name, when her mother married Benedum in 1941. Ms. Bennett attended the University of Miami where she majored in mathematics.She married Dr. John E. Williams of Beverly Hills, California in June 1957. She subsequently withdrew from the film industry.Was chosen Miss College Beauty of University of Miami; she placed second in the national competition.A rare female client of notorious talent agent Henry Willson, who was better known for his hunky male roster of talent (Rock Hudson, Troy Donahue (whom she once was seen with) and Tab Hunter). Natalie Wood was another client.
