Short Biography
Gretchen Cordy was born February 7, 1962, in NYC. She attended Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. For six years, Gretchen was a survival instructor for the US Air Force. There, Gretchen taught pilots and crewman how to survive the elements, by building shelters, fires, finding water, and signaling for help. Gretchen married her husband Dale in 1986. She moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, to start a family. In early 2000, Gretchen auditioned to be on a new reality-based show called 'Survivor', and was accepted. At the time, Gretchen worked part-time as a pre-school teacher. Gretchen has two children, Ava and Eli, and husband of eighteen years, Dale. On weekends, Gretchen enjoys taking her family camping in the Hoh Rain Forest in Washington State. Gretchen Cordy currently is a co-host on a morning radio show.
