Irene Richmond was born on November 15, 1911 in Gresford, Wrexham, Clwyd, Wales. She was an actress, known for Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960), Nightmare (1964) and O Lucky Man! (1973). She did not start acting on stage until into her forties. She then performed in repertory in Oxford, Chichester and Bromley and, subsequently, at the Liverpool Playhouse, the Hampstead Theatre and the Royal Court.A play she performed in at the Q Theatre in West London, she played the sister of Joan Collins.She was usually cast in motherly roles.Retired to Bournemouth to act as president of the local literary society.
