Jean-François Rémi was born in 1927. He was an actor, known for The War Is Over (1966), Les fleurs succombent en Arcadie (1973) and Three Rooms in Manhattan (1965). He died on December 21, 2007 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France.Jean-Francois Rémi (born Jacques-Pierre Poli the November 16 , 1927 and dead the 21 December 2007 (Aged 80) in Boulogne-Billancourt ) is a French actor and director of Corsican origin.BiographyHe is a native of Olivese. He was one of the French soldiers who had landed in Provence on 15 August 1944 and had taken part in the Italian campaign. He was until his death president of the Association of Comedian Fighters.He studied at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art and was a member of the 1953 class ( Claude Rich and Jacques Toja ).He joined the Comédie-Française in 1971 and left it in 1998. He has directed numerous plays, including Phèdre by Jean Racine , presented at the Festival de Ramatuelle in 2006.
