Louann Fernald (born October 23, 1957 San Antonio, Texas) is an American model and actress. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its June 1979 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Dwight Hooker.Louann grew up in Florida, where her father raised oranges and once worked on missile systems. She attended the University of Florida. Fernald was discovered by Playboy magazine through the 25th Anniversary Great Playmate Hunt.Following her pictorial, Louann got married and had three children. She has worked as a stockbroker, a business owner, and a public relations consultant. An avid runner, Louann completed the New York City Marathon in less than four hours in 1988. In 1996 Louann entered law school.
