Short Biography
Maya Anne St. Germain was Emily's first girlfriend. She moved into the DiLaurentis' old house. She and Emily began to bond, and the two soon began to develop romantic feelings for each other. They kissed at a party, but Emily started to push Maya away, not yet ready to embrace being gay. Eventually, Emily came out, and they become a couple, but their relationship ended when Maya was caught with drugs by and sent off to a rehab-type program (True North). Sometime after Maya's rehab stint, they pick up again, going further than it had before. However, when Emily discovered that Maya was doing drugs again, they fought, and Maya ran away, eventually going missing. She was reported dead in "UnmAsked". It was later revealed she was staying at the Kahns' cabin to hide from her ex-boyfriend, Lyndon James, who was stalking her from rehab, who killed her for choosing Emily over him. He comes to Rosewood posing as Maya's cousin, and then attempts to kill Paige McCullers in revenge, but Emily kills him in self-defense and avenges Maya's death.
