While on vacation, this stunning coed was spotted in a Hollywood restuarant by the wife of writer/producer Sidney Buckman, and was asked to audition for a film To The Ends Of The Earth. Had her name changed to Maylia. Married Charlie Chan actor Benson Fong on 11 November 1946(A day after her 21st Birthday). They were married for over 40 years, until his death from a stroke on August 1st 1987. During their long marriage they had five children, three of which followed them into the acting profession.
