She first studied with Georges Chamarat and then with Antoine Vitez, with whom she worked regularly for a decade at the theater ( Phèdre , Le Prince travesti , Lucrèce Borgia ).She then worked with Patrice Chéreau ( Peer Gynt , Hamlet ), Luc Bondy ( Le Conte d'hiver , John Gabriel Borkman ) and Christian Schiaretti ( The Mystery of Charity , Mother Courage and her Children , The Fourth Opera Under ).She appeared in the cinema in 1973 in Lo Païs by Gérard Guérin but it was mainly television that made her known to the general public ( Louis la Brocante , Les Faux-fuyants , Léon Morin, priest ); She was also seen in the TV movie L'Avare alongside Michel Serrault .In September 2008, After three-quarters of an hour of performances on the stage of the Theater de la Colline , where the musical show Bertold Brecht / Paul Dessau was taking place , Nada Strancar suffered from a heart malaise and collapsed on the stage.
