Short Biography

Nicole Hoffmann Photographer - I am happy that you have found your way here to visit and view my work.In 2012, when I was a senior in high school, I received my first DSLR camera as a gift from my parents. Although I had always had a passion for taking and collecting photographs, my career developed shortly thereafter when I realized that there is nothing I would rather do then create memories for people to keep forever.Working full time as a photographer, I continued my education pursuing a Communication Arts Undergraduate Degree. I will be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in December of 2017 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.Although I have learned a lot from college, my camera has always been where I seem to find myself the most. I have learned so much about life through the lens and have experienced so many wonderful moments and created so many lasting memories from the events and people whom I have been fortunate enough to capture.Besides my own business, I also work with Hometown NewsGroup and its affiliate, The Star. I have freelanced for the newsgroup since 2013, capturing high school athletics in Sun Prairie and surrounding communities, as well as local events held by community groups. Just recently in the spring of 2017, I signed to become the official sports photographer for Madison College Athletics. I am currently a member of Professional Photographers of America, where photographers from around the country, connect, learn, and grow with one another as they pursue their work - a wonderful experience it has been! Photographing life is a gift to me.
