Royce was born in 1940, and was a gifted baseball player in high school, despite his attitude problems and superiority complex.When Royce was 17, a greaser called Johnny challenged him to a drag race, but a cut brake line caused Royce's car to spin out of control and flip over, dragging him under and killing him.His body was buried in the plot of earth overlooking the baseball diamond
