Samantha Beaulieu is a film, television and theatre actress from New Orleans, Louisiana and can be seen in an upcoming episode of the hit television series "American Horror Story: Coven", episode titled "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks" airing January 8, 2014 on FX.Samantha can also be seen in the blockbuster action thriller "Now You See Me", available on DVD and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, and Morgan Freeman. In the flick, Samantha plays an FBI Tech Agent tracking a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their magic shows.Additional film credits include: T.D. Jakes' "Woman Thou Art Loosed: On The 7th Day"; "Texas Killing Fields", which competed in the 68th Venice International Film Festival; "Hurricane Season" starring Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker; "Waking Madison" starring Academy Award Nominee Elisabeth Shue; and "American Violet" starring Alfre Woodard and Nicole Behari.On stage, Samantha won the 2010 Big Easy Award, which honors the best of New Orleans' theatre and music artists. Samantha took home the statue for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role in the groundbreaking classic "A Raisin in the Sun". A first-time nominee, Beaulieu won for her touching and honest portrayal of Ruth Younger, the struggling and supportive wife, played by Ruby Dee in the 1960's Broadway classic, for which Mrs. Dee won a Tony Award.Other stage credits include the Negro Ensemble's "Ceremonies in Dark Old Men", in which Samantha was nominated Best Supporting Actress in a Drama at the 2011 Ambie Awards; "The Good Negro"; "The Lily's Revenge"; Pulitzer Prize winning "Our Town"; "The Women of Brewster Place: The Musical"; "Jar the Floor", and "The Madwoman of Chaillot", which was nominated for a 2011 Big Easy Award for Best Drama.
