Sophia Raafat was born in 1978. She is a British based fashion model. she belongs the Nevs Model Agency and Ice Model Management in South Africa. Sophia has been shown in Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and Exte advertisements.As the new face of the National Lottery, Sophia brings a newfound glamour to prime time Saturday night television.Sophia co-hosts the brand new BBC1 Saturday night show "The Lottery with Millionaire Manor" with Mark Durden-Smith, and can be seen on the Wednesday night show as well.After hosting the Emmy award winning "Behind The Music" on VH1, she moved to SkyOne`s live gameshow "Sky Quiz", before hitting Saturday night entertainment at the end of last year. She has also been named a RadioTimes “TV Personality of the Year” in 2004 for her work on "Bid-tv".Before moving into television, Sophia began her career as a model and has graced the cover of many international magazines.As patron of Body and Soul, a unique organisation helping teenagers and children affected directly or indirectly by HIV and Aids, Sophia will also be at the forefront of their new campaign, which culminates with a Smile Day for the City of London fronted by Mayor Ken Livingstone.In the rare free moments she gets in between TV work, Sophia is taking helicopter lessons and hopes to eventually gain her pilot’s licence.
