Semiologist, specializing in popular French beliefs, she publishes various articles and books on this subject.BiographyBorn in Toulouse, Marie-Charlotte Delmas first went to theatrical writing and directing. At the same time, she studied modern literature before engaging in the language sciences at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. Semiologist, holds a PhD thesis supervised by Gérard Genette , she shares her work between her job as a library curator, research and writing. Specialized in discourse related to the supernatural and popular beliefs, it is thanks to the encouragement of his friend, the folklorist and writer Claude Seignolle , on which she publishes two essays, that she launched into fiction in 1999.After the release of her first fantastic novels for children, she directed the Chauve-Souris collection at Syros publishing house until 2002, a collection for which she wrote about ten books. She also embarked on the comic strip with Max Cabane and Pierre Wininger .In 2003, Marie-Charlotte Delmas abandoned fiction to resume her research on popular beliefs and legends, themes on which she published several books.
