Dirk Franciscus "Danny" Blind (born 1 August 1961) is a former Dutch international football player and current coach. He played as a defender for Sparta Rotterdam, AFC Ajax and the Dutch national team. He currently works as head coach of the Netherlands national team, succeeding Guus Hiddink on 1 August 2015, after Hiddink's contract was terminated.
