Liana Mendoza, Actress, Dancer, Stunt Woman, Model, Singer and relative to Vicente Fernandez (the King of Ranchera music throughout the Latin world).Miss Mendoza started performing as a tap dancer at age 3 and eventually moved onto modern jazz, ballet and hip hop and was invited to join a professional dance company which lead her to tour and perform in music videos with musical artists such as Romeo Miller (Lil Romeo), Joe and Jamie Foxx.Her first record deal came from La Face records via BabyFace at age 14 with the girl group "Amor". Their hit single "Si Te Vas" was written by Ne-yo (Singer/Songwriter) but soon after the girl group split, Liana went solo and found herself working on a whole new sound.Mendoza, after having trained in martial arts and hand to hand combat Katsugo-te, also began her career in the world of acting as a stunt woman. Most recently honored by Sag-Aftra and Senator Karen Bass for her works on G.I. Joe, Jimmy Kimmel, Crank 2 and Decisions. But more importantly her volunteer work in the community.Her first "acting break" was given by Master P (Percy Miller) as she starred alongside Katt Williams and Master P not as a stunt woman but this time in the TV Movie "Internet Dating" as Claudia. She went on to Guest Star on such TV Shows as Jimmy Kimmel and Bones. Most recently appearing in "A Haunted House" with the slap heard round the world starring Marlon Wayans as the coke hoarding confederate of Rosa getting slapped upside the head and screaming spanish profanities.She grew up in a single-parent household in a neighborhood nicknamed "Frog Town" due to the vast quantity of frogs located in the area of northeast Los Angeles with her brother Adam.Mendoza credits her aunts Yvette Saucedo and Juanita Anguiano with being the biggest influence for her being able to have obtained her dreams, goals and success. "Their support was insurmountable and necessary for my success" she states.By age 13 she began to study music and voice, was a member of the glee club choir and played saxophone and flute. She was voted class valedictorian and was invited to attend the prestigious Hamilton High School for Performing Arts.Her studies continued long after high school with Acme and the comedy troupe The Groundlings. Mendoza, who is no stranger to the books also obtained a degree in Psychology. Fascinated by the subject, she went on study hypnotherapy and eventually became a Hypnotherapist as well.Trained professionally by "Vocal Coach to The Stars" 'Seth Riggs'. Liana went on to perform in musical theatre, including "Hell's Too Hot" with music by 'Janet Jackson producers 'Jimmy Jam and 'Terry Lewis. "working with them was an absolute honor".A woman and stranger to the songstress, by the name of Ru Diaz, saw Liana perform and invested in Liana so she would be able to continue to refine her studies in the arts.Having gotten her start on the hit Latin TV show Estudio 2 (2005) as "Chica", she eventually went on to appear in such shows as Scandal (2012), Bones (2005) and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
