Short Biography
Felix Martin is a musician, DJ and producer who plays in the band Hot Chip. His DJ career highlights include adolescent experiments combining Aphex Twin and Velvet Underground on a double cassette player, purchasing some broken Technics 1210s from a guy in Loot, fixing them, and subsequently using them to play techno records on very loudly, and buying a lot of heavily discounted Soul and Funk compilations from Oxfam one rainy afternoon in 2005. He also mixed the Hot Chip “DJ Kicks” & “Bugged Out” compilations. He plays in clubs all round the world and selects from a wide range of electronic music – house, disco, techno and some other things too.
