George Lee Altman (born March 20, 1933 in Goldsboro, North Carolina) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and Nippon Professional Baseball outfielder. Altman played for the Chicago Cubs (from 1959 to 1962, and from 1965 to 1967), St. Louis Cardinals (1963), and New York Mets (1964). He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. George played three months with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1955
