Romeo Ashbey "Rac" Crennel (born June 18, 1947) is an American football coach, currently defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans. Though he has spent much of his career as a defensive assistant, he has been the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs. On January 20, 2014 he signed a 3 year deal to become the next defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans.
