Short Biography

Dubbed by the press as the Downtown Doyenne, the daughter of an Egyptian-born Texas investor has transformed her West Village townhouse into a veritable salon. (Her annual Halloween party is the invite of the season.) In addition to her society and charity circuit presence, she is a classically trained chef and sometime actress whose film credits include The Chronicles of Narnia. She is also a contributing editor to Domino, Conde Nast`s home magazine.
