In 2002, after over a dozen years of copywriting and creative directing for international and national ad agencies, Grant broke away from the mainstream to found Key Gordon Communications Inc.>An advertising & design firm, Key Gordon was one of the first creative agencies in North America to focus exclusively on the branding and marketing of socially and environmentally responsible companies and organizations.>Since the firm's inception, Grant has stuck slavishly to its motto "Branding the good guys." The company is active in everything from naming and creating identities to designing full multimedia ad campaigns. Clients range from Butterfield & Robinson and The Shaw Festival to alternative energy companies, Yukon Tourism, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, and the Canadian MedicAlert Fdn. Key Gordon created FLICK OFF (the award-winning global warming activism campaign backed by Sir Richard Branson and v*rgin), and Stick It to Fast Food (a healthy eating campaign in partnership with students across Ontario).>Grant is the President of the Dreamwalker Dance Co., a Trustee of the Quetico Foundation, the founder of the Gratitude Bag, and a past Director of Key Publishers Ltd.>Grant is an active public speaker on topics relating to advertising & design, sustainability and ethical marketing.
