Aerin Rebecca Lauder is the a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald S. Lauder of New York. She was born in 1970 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. At 26, she was he director of creative product development at Estee Lauder U.S.A. and Canada, a division of the cosmetics company in New York.Her father is the chairman of Estee Lauder International and Clinique Laboratories, also a Lauder company. Mr. Lauder was Ambassador to Austria during the Reagan Administration. He is also the chairman of the Museum of Modern Art. Her mother, Jo Carole Lauder, is the president of the museum`s international council. She is also a trustee of Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and the vice chairwoman of Friends of Art and Preservation in Embassies in Washington.The bride is a granddaughter of Estee Lauder of New York and the late Joseph H. Lauder, who together founded the family business.
