Bénédicte Lécroart is a singer and actress French born in 1954 in Antony.She is part of a family of musicians (She is the sister of Matthieu Lécroart, classical music singer). She has participated in various groups of folk and Irish music including Up ya boya, and was a chorister of Sheila , Elsa , Laura Mayne and Gilbert Bécaud . Very popular and appreciated for her work on the dubbing sung of many films, she is among others since 1991 the official French voice of Belle in Beauty and the Beast and its suites. She has thus become the regular French voice of several American singers like Paige O'Hara ,
