He was a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m), 195 lb (88 kg) right-handed pitcher who appeared in 122 Major League Baseball games for the Chicago White Sox (1975–1977) and California Angels (1978–1980), winning 12 and 14 games in back-to-back seasons (1977–1978).
