Short Biography
Collette Roberts, (born 1968) who performed under the stage name Collette, is a New Zealand-born, Australian model turned disco/pop star in Sydney during the late 1980s and early 1990s. She had a gold-selling top five single on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) and the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) in May 1989 with "Ring My Bell", an Anita Ward cover. Sometimes considered a one hit wonder, Collette in fact had two other top 40 hits later in 1989 - "All I Wanna Do Is Dance" in July and "That's What I Like About You" in November - as well as two minor hits in 1990-91, "Who Do You Think You Are" and a cover of the Diana Ross hit "Upside Down".
