Daniel Francis Murphy (born August 23, 1942 in Beverly, Massachusetts), is a retired American professional baseball player who played pitcher and outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1960–1962 and in 1969–1970 for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. Murphy threw right-handed, batted left-handed, stood 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and weighed 185 pounds (84 kg) during his playing career.
