Short Biography
Colonel(retired) Erkki Nghimtina (born 16 September 1948) is a Namibian politician and former military officer in the Namibia Defence Force(NDF). A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Nghimtina has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 1995 and the Minister of Mines and Energy since 20 March 2005. As of 2013 he is the Minister of Works and Transport.
