Short Biography
Dated actress Lupe Velez. Velez was pregnant with Harald`s child at the time of her death. She didn`t want to give birth to an illegitimate child as that was a disgrace in those days. Velez asked Ramand to marry her because of the pregnancy. When Ramand refused, Velez committed suicide. As a result, the public blamed Ramand for Velez`s suicide, and his career as an actor was ruined.
