Hind Rostom (Arabic: هند رستم; November 12, 1929 – August 8, 2011) was one of the great icons in the golden era of Egyptian cinema. Her physical appearance earned her the name "Marilyn Monroe of Egypt". Born into an aristocratic Egyptian Circassian family, Hind Rostom starred in more than 80 movies throughout her career.
