Chelsea Clinton’s former boyfriend Ian Klaus is a book author. His first book was entitled “Elvis is Titanic.” It was about his work as an English teacher in the Kurdish region of Iraq.Ian Klaus is now 31. He grew up in the upscale community of Belvedere in Marin County, California, about a half hour north of San Francisco.He met Chelsea Clinton at Oxford University. They dated for four years after first meeting at Oxford in 2001.He dedicated his book, "Elvis is Titanic" to his mother and to Chelsea Clinton.Klaus told the Marin Independent Newspaper that the Clinton family has been generous with him. President Bill Clinton wrote and endorsement of Klaus’s book.Klaus’s Facebook page lists his current place of residence as New York City.His official biography on Random House says he lives in both New York and Cambridge, Massachusetts and is currently studying for a doctorate in history at Harvard University.Klaus is a very busy man. He is also a contributor to the Daily Beast. His bio there says he divides his time between New York, Boston, and Sonoma County, California.
